Day 80: Pressing Forward…

FTNYPost

Well 2013 is in the books now. I give all the glory to my Father who carried, sustained, and directed me throughout many challenges, successes, amazing experiences and life lessons. Now 2014 is upon me, and it is my purpose to stay in the race, fixed on Christ and keep pressing forward. It is by His grace, and His alone, that I stand. I am so thankful for such a blessed year of new friendships, a new business opportunity, ministry growth, new challenges and to continue to lead in a wonderful ministry. Thank you Jesus for being so faithful and for remaining my Faithful Trainer in this race. Thank you for being so real with me. Thanks for the constant reminder that nothing is more important than you. My heart should not beat or burn for nothing else but You alone. There is no race, no reward, no finish line that is greater than what has been prepared by You in heaven. It is my prayer that You will awaken and revive my spirit this year. May You continue to guide me with every step, every breath, every heart beat, every word, and crush the idols in my life. May my heart burn for You alone. May I seek you passionately and love You the way that You love me. Please be my world. Help me be a beacon for You so that others will want to know You. Let me decrease, so You will increase.

Philippians 3:12-15, “Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. Nut one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you.”
